Are you open all year round?
No. We are closed January and February.
Can we park near the Lodges?
Dormouse and Nuthatch Lodge have their own parking areas to take two cars. Parking bays for Kingfisher & Badgers Retreat are approximately 30 meters away from the Lodges.
How far is it to Local Attractions?
There are many attractions and things to do within a very short drive of South Combe Waters.
Cullompton - 5 miles.
Hemyock - 4 miles.
Honiton - 8 miles.
Do all the Lodges have showers?
Go to the Lodges pages, you will find a description of each Bath/Shower configuration.
Do you have fishing rules?
Yes - Please read them before you Book!!
Is Bed Linen provided?
All bed linen is provided, with the exception of linen for cots. Beds are made up for your arrival.
Do you hire DVDs?
We have a selection of DVDs at reception which can be rented [No Charge]
How much does Electricity cost?
The cost of electricity for heating, lighting and cooking is included in the rental cost.
What additional charges are made for using your facilities?
Our only additional charges are for the Washing machine and Dryer.
Are dogs allowed at South Combe Waters?
Sorry, pets are not allowed.
Do you have a children's play area?
Yes.
Do you accept all Male/Female parties?
No.
Are there any local walks?
There are plenty of woodland walks in the adjoining woods, and walks to local villages and Public houses.
Is there somewhere close by to purchase groceries?
There are two Tesco supermarkets in Honiton and Cullompton. Forest Glade Caravan Park is nearby which sells newspapers, and we have a Premier General Store / Post Office in Dunkeswell.
Are the Lodges accessible to those with mobility difficulties?
The two smaller Lodges are more suited for a disabled person.
Are there any Local Taxi services?
Yes.
Do you provide towels?
No, we do not provide towels.
Have you Laundry facilities at South Combe Waters?
Yes, we have a Laundry room, the washing machine which is charged out at £3.00 per wash, the dryer is operated by £1 coins.
What does the fishing cost?
Fishing is Free, but guests must abide by our Fishing Rules.
