Peace & Tranquility in

We specialise in quiet relaxing holidays, both Lakes are meters from the the Lodges, it is safe to leave your fishing tackle by the lakes while you return to your Lodge.

Fishing is for the exclusive use of our guests who must hold an appropriate rod licence and have read our Fishing Rules and agree to bide by them.

The condition and size of our fish are of the upmost importance to us. To achieve this we have limited the amount of fishing at the lakes this year which will reduce the pressure on the fish, in the meantime they are being fed on a diet aimed at putting on weight and keeping it on as best as possible.

Our Lakes are spring fed and are sensitively managed to ensure the fish are healthy.

Specimen Lake
is well stocked with carp of 20lbs+ providing a tranquil backdrop for the holiday angler.

Mystery Lake is an extremely pretty with two islands and one bank which is in a natural wooded area. A good mixture of fish for all age groups including Roach, Rudd, Bream, Orfe, Tench, Chub, Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Grass Carp and Koi Carp ranging in size from fingerlings to 12lbs, with this winters stocking of Perch and Tench will add to the tremendous fishing that holiday makers have experienced fishing this Lake.

Depths average 3 - 6 feet, with shallower water near the holiday lodges, always a carp hotspot in the warmer summer months.

In the interest of fish welfare, unhooking mats must be used at all times when handling our fish.

PS: Anglers must have an antiseptic treatment with them before they fish - We will be selling bottles of Antiseptic at the cost price of £5.00 per bottle.
