SPECIMEN LAKE is an extremely pretty spring fed lake that is sensitively managed to ensure the fish are healthy. It is well stocked with carp of 20lbs+ providing a tranquil backdrop for the holiday angler. The location is quiet and secluded yet very close to the accommodation.

This is the Lower Lake on our complex. It is heavily stocked with Mirror and Common Carp with the best recorded fish tipping the scales at 27lb 06oz. The lake contains many doubles and numerous fish in the 5lb - 8lb range, making for an enjoyable and often hectic days sport.

Whilst most anglers choose to target the carp, the lake also supports a healthy stock of Perch and Roach.
